The challenge was to design and build a prototype that allows the user to better understand the possible applications of synthetic biology. As a results, students developed i.e. “MicroSynBio, a microscope and lab book safe to use in your living room” was built by Tom Kölker and ‘Keratin Ink: a device to recycle your nails into ink” was developed by Casper Vos that is featured in Next Nature's NANO Supermarket.
